SECRETS FOR GREATER MENTAL CLARITY

The primary secret to have greater mental clarity is to know where you want to go. Actually, it’s more than that – it’s knowing your purpose and having a heart connected vision that drives your daily decisions.

Those who truly manifest their vision and live passionately are people who stick to their dream, no matter what stumbling blocks they encounter. They listen respectfully to advice; gather information and facts; and never lose sight of their dream.

It is important that your vision be more than a great idea. It must connect to your passion and energize your system. Great ideas that are not heart connected will in fact reduce your energy and create confusion, not mental clarity.

The second secret to greater mental clarity is to get grounded on a daily basis so that you are aware and present in the moment. While there are many possible strategies to accomplish this, using Clarity’s daily check-in ritual can be very grounding.

The daily check-in is an exercise in learning levels of distinction by answering five questions. The check-in process is completely focused on the self. This is an exercise you can do by your self or with others, and can be done in as little as five minutes. It will ground you and keep you conscious.

There is a natural tendency to think the state your personal field is related to another’s actions. You are not capable of controlling other’s actions. You are only able to control your own field, therefore during the check-in you can never comment on anyone else’s behavior.

The five questions of the daily check-in are:

What’s different?
What worked and what didn’t work?
What is the state of my mind, body and spirit?
What am I grateful for?
What is my intention for today?

What’s different?

The first question to ask is “What’s Different?” One of the principles of quantum physics is that in every nano-second everything is different. In order to access quantum reality (which is also the physics of all possibilities), it is important to notice that everything is different all the time.

Noticing this, and not operating from the place of “same old, same old”, wakes you up, keeps you conscious of the differences in your daily life. Asking “What’s Different?” is a simple trick to stay awake and avoid operating from old patterns.

The answer to the questions can be anything, regardless if it seems mundane. Even a simple answer – it’s sunny today – will help you avoid thinking everything’s the same. The more attuned you become to noticing what’s different, the more you are strengthening your quantum intelligence.

What worked and what didn’t work?

Ask yourself, in the past 24 hours, in your own performance, what worked and what didn’t work. You can comment on your own performance only. This is very important. The underlying intention of this part of the check-in is to remove judgment and criticism from your personal field.

Doing this non-judgmental evaluation of your own performance each day is similar to what athletes do in watching game films to see where they can improve their performance. It is merely looking factually at the results without blame, judgment or criticism.

Focus equally on what did work and what didn’t work. You will begin to see a pattern in what doesn’t work, and you can then develop strategies to change that performance.

What is the state of my mind, body and spirit?

Again, the intention of this part of the check-in is for you to live in high noticing and in distinction by seeing the clear separation of your mind, body and spirit. It is common for each of us to describe our personal field by referencing only one of these areas. For example, “I woke up with a headache, and my whole day is ruined”.

When actually doing the check on all areas will show that the headache is in your body, but your mind may be busy and alert, and your spirit may be light and energized.

Separating your referencing of these three areas will help you live each day in distinction.

It’s important to note that your spirit can only be positive. Spirit is never negative. Words like happy, joyful, expansive, light, soaring, calm, peaceful and creative are words to describe the state of spirit.

What am I grateful for?

Research has shown that people who express gratitude on a frequent basis are more optimistic, feel better about their lives, make more progress towards their goals, and feel higher levels of alertness and energy.

By answering this question each day, you shift your attention to what you do have, not on what you don’t have. That focus allows you to approach your day with more vitality and energy.

What is my intention for today?

What is your intention – one or two sentences that always have an action included. An intention is different from an affirmation. Where an affirmation is a statement – “I am worthy of money” – an intention also involves action. “My intention today is to generate money flow, make six sales calls and have fun doing it.”

Manifesting anything you want in your life begins with setting your intention, then taking action towards it.

Holding your own personal energy field is the most critical step in achieving your destiny. The practice of performing a daily check-in will result in your being aware, conscious and focused on your vision.

Now you have two of the secrets to greater mental clarity – live each day focused on a heart connected vision and do a daily ritual of checking in to keep your self grounded, conscious and aware.
