KNOW MORE ABOUT ENERGY FLOW Chakras are energy centers located in the body that are aligned with the spinal column from the base of the spine to the crown of the head. The seven chakras act as conduits through which universal energy and information flows. The chakras receive, store and transmit energy and information by interacting with the electromagnetic energy field surrounding you and transforming this into the energy that sustains your life. When chakras are open and aligned, energy flows freely, easily, and abundantly throughout the body without blockages or resistance. That flow is what you describe in yourself as a peaceful, easy feeling and it is your natural, healthy way of being. The human body is designed to have that ease of flow internally, and when that is expressed externally, it is what you describe as “being together” and sense as integrity when you meet others in alignment. Here is a brief description of the 7 chakra system, located within the body, which are centers that receive, store, and transmit energy.
You don’t need an in-depth knowledge of the chakra system to get an idea of how the alignment of energy centers works. Viewing the diagram below will give you an image that is easy to understand. We call it an alignment model for flow when: your ideas (7) connect to your heart (4) and direct your actions (1). This is an energetic representation of “walking (Grounded Action Chakra 1) your (Love & Passion Chakra 4) talk (Inspired Thought Chakra 7).” In the Clarity International coaching methodology, this alignment is what we often refer to as an integrated and authentic way of being. It results in actions that reflect integrity and those actions are always lights-on, energized, and natural. This alignment will truly move you from a “human doing” to a “human being,” thus creating a field of attraction that is easily recognizable to others. 7-4-1 integrity is the authentic way to attract the people and circumstances that you desire! Powerful creative energy flows freely when the seven chakra conduit, much like a column, is aligned and open. You may have heard the term kundalini which refers to energy stored in the 1st or root chakra, often represented as a snake, which when released opens and aligns the whole chakra system with a stimulation of powerful creative energy. When that powerful energy is aligned with “the path of the heart” at the 4th chakra, it flows to the mind and makes the “heart mind” connection. It feels like the rush or surge of energy when you have an “Aha” experience of being suddenly clear, and it is closely related to the physiology of lights on. In the Clarity International coaching methodology, the 4th chakra at the heart center, is the key piece of information you need to uncover to discover what you love doing. You can’t get true clarity through your head alone. You can’t think your way to desire. “You must follow your heart” has often been said in colloquialisms and now there is strong scientific data that supports that wisdom, thanks to the work of the Institute of HeartMath. This “heart mind” connection makes sense scientifically because the magnetic field of the heart is about a thousand times stronger than that of the brain. According to data from the Institute of HeartMath, it has enough power that an electrocardiogram can be measure that magnetic field in every cell of your body, from head to toe. For example, when you feel upset, there is such a body wide sense of disharmony that the effects can show up on an electrocardiogram. Likewise, when you are calm and peaceful, the waves on the electrocardiogram are smoother and more coherent. Interesting magnetometer data from the Institute of Heart Math shows the heart signal does not stop at the skin, but radiates into the space around you, and the field of the heart can actually be measured four to five feet away. This cutting edge scientific data relates closely to and legitimizes the ancient teachings of the chakra system which originated among healers and seers in ancient India. Thousands of years old, it is respected and in use today by many Western doctors and inter-disciplinary healers. Having both a chakra system perspective and a scientific perspective will enhance your awareness of how energy flows within your body (your personal field) and how that energy flow is in a constant and dynamic exchange with universal energy (your near field and the remote field). The scientific evidence has proven that when you connect to your heart, you are transmitting energy from your personal field and receiving feedback from the near field, and back and forth.
